Career

Tim Hambly began his career as a hockey player with the Waterloo Black Hawks, for which he was active in the junior league United States Hockey League in the 2000/01 season . He then played for the University of Minnesota Duluth team for four years before making his professional ice hockey debut at the end of the 2004/05 season. For the Las Vegas Wranglers from the ECHL , the defender made two assists in eight games. In the following season he ran again for Las Vegas in the ECHL, but was parallel for the Iowa Stars and Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights in the American Hockey League on the ice, where he played for the latter until their relocation in 2007. The contract rights of the left-handed shooter were then taken over by their successor team, the Quad City Flames .

After the US-American had spent the 2008/09 season at AHL club Rockford IceHogs , for which he scored 29 points in 83 games, he was committed to ERC Ingolstadt from the German Ice Hockey League in summer 2009 . After winning the German championship with the ERCI in the 2013/14 season - due to an injury he did not play a play-off - he moved to the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg within the league before the 2014/15 season .

In June 2016 he switched to the Krefeld Penguins .
