Titus Vollmer

Titus Vollmer (* 1969 in Göttingen ) is a German musician and film composer .

Live and act

Titus Vollmer graduated from high school in Munich in 1988. After the subsequent community service, he worked from 1990 to 1997 as a touring and studio guitarist as well as an arranger and composer. From 1997 to 2000 he studied film composition at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Since 2000 he has been working as a film music composer. In addition, he continued to work as a guitarist and arranger. As a touring and live musician, he accompanied Mario Adorf , Bill Ramsey , Johnny Logan , Patrick Nuo , Willy Astor , Claudia Koreck and Christian Willisohn, among others . As a musician, he was involved in recordings for CDs and the films Es ist ein Moose sprung (composer Ralf Wengenmayr ) and Mr. Bello (composer Konstantin Wecker ). For the Munich Symphony Orchestra , he arranged the music for shows in the Philharmonie and the Prinzregententheater in Munich from 2006, including the Winterzauber show, which was performed in the Munich Philharmonic from 2006 . In 2007 he composed the music for the musical Auerbach together with Hannes Ringlstetter and Oscar Kraus and was the musical director of the production for the Munich comedy theater. From 2007 to 2009 he was the musical director of the musical Der Watzmann ruft in the Lustspielhaus .
