Toshihiro Aoyama ( Japanese 青山 敏 弘 , Aoyama Toshihiro ; born February 22, 1986 in Kurashiki ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Toshihiro Aoyama learned to play football in the team of the Kurashiki Kawatetsu Soccer Shonendai , the youth team of Kurashiki Hajaxs FC and in the school team of Tsuyama Sakuyo High School . He signed his first contract with Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 2004 . The club from Hiroshima , a port city in the southwest of the Japanese main island of Honshū , played in the first highest league in the country, the J.League Division 1 . In 2007 he had to start the path to the second division with the club. The following year he was champions of the league and rose straight back to the first division. In 2012, 2013 and 2015 he was Japanese football champion with Hiroshima, 2018 runner-up. He won the Supercup in 2008, 2013, 2014 and 2016. He was in the final of the Kaiserpokal in 2007 and 2013, as well as in the J.League Cup in 2010 and 2014. Here you left as a loser. In 2015 he was footballer of the year. To this day he is under contract with Hiroshima.

National team

In 2013, Aoyama made his debut for the Japanese national soccer team . With the Japanese national team, he qualified for the 2014 World Cup . Aoyama has played twelve international matches.
