Toshiya Fujita ( Japanese 藤田 俊 哉 , Fujita Toshiya ; born October 4, 1971 in Shizuoka ) is a Japanese football player with Nagoya Grampus Eight in the J-League . He plays in the position of attacking midfielder. His greatest successes include participation in the 2001 Confederations Cup in Japan and South Korea , where he finished 2nd with Japan, as well as participation in the 2004 Asian Cup in China and the election of Footballer of the Year in the first-class J-League in 2001.
