Tri Nations 2007 was the twelfth edition of the annual Tri Nations rugby union tournament . Six games took place between June 16 and July 21, 2007. New Zealand won the tournament for the eighth time. In contrast to the previous year, each team completed two fewer games in order to have enough preparation time for the 2007 Rugby Union World Cup , which begins on September 7th . The game plan was designed so that no team had to play two away games in a row.
