The dry Mülmisch is a 5.9 km long, northeast and right tributary of the Fulda in the Schwalm-Eder district , Hesse ( Germany ).

Course and catchment area

The dry Mülmisch rises in the Söhre just outside the geo-nature park Frau-Holle-Land (Werratal.Meißner.Kaufunger forest) . Your source is 1.7 km south-west from the summit of the neighboring district of Kassel, located parking Mountain (about  495  m above sea level.  NHN ) and about 600 meters south of the located on the border of this district for Schwalm-Eder-Kreis Stellberg lake (about  356  m ). In the forest it is about 300 m south of the state road  3460, which connects Wollrode in the west with Wattenbach in the east, at an altitude of around 350  m .

Initially, the dry Mülmisch, which runs mainly southwest, flows through a remote forest valley of the Söhre. When leaving the forest, the stream crosses under the high-speed route Hanover – Würzburg , which leads on the 320 m long Trockene-Mülmisch valley bridge over the valley of the flowing water . Shortly afterwards, it reaches the core of the municipality of Körle , where it crosses federal highway 83 and then - when leaving the village - the Bebra – Baunatal-Guntershausen railway and also the L 3221.

Shortly afterwards , the Trockener Mülmisch flows at around 155.5  m into the western Weser source river Fulda , coming from the southeast , into which the Mülmisch flows above Körle as the southeastern neighboring stream of the Trockenen Mülmisch ; between the two the Hainsgraben flowing through Körle flows into the Fulda.

The catchment area of the dry Mülmisch is 7.901 km².
