Trollzorn Records is a German independent label from the East Westphalian city ​​of Minden . The record company with an attached web shop specializes in pagan , viking and folk metal as well as medieval rock . The label published in the distribution of Soulfood .

Label history

Stefan Heinemeyer founded the label together with his partner Kai around 2004. In 2005, the album Minnemetal by the regional band Teufelswerk & Narrentanz was released as the first album , but it broke up shortly afterwards. Next, Kromlek was signed. The most famous bands include Gernotshagen and Menhir . The latter released their album Hildebrandslied on the label in 2007 .

After initially only pagan metal bands were signed, medieval rock bands including Ragnaröek , Vogelfrey , Ignis Fatuu and Impius Mundi also signed.

Connected to the label is a webshop which, in addition to its own products, also offers music from the areas of black metal , neofolk and folk rock . Closely linked to the label is the fanzine Trollhorn , which until 2006 also bore the label's name.
