Tutuluro is an East Timorese Suco in the administrative office of Same ( Manufahi municipality ).

Before the 2015 regional reform, Tutuluro had an area of ​​57.10 km². Now there are 62.65 km². The Suco is located in the northeast of the administrative office Same between the Caraulun River (in the upper reaches of Calihuno ) in the west and its tributary, the Sui in the east. To the west are the Sucos Holarua and Letefoho , southwest of the Suco Babulo . In the southeast Tutuluro borders on the administrative office of Alas with its Suco Taitudac , in the east on the administrative office of Fatuberlio with its Suco Fahinehan and in the northeast the administrative office of Turiscai with its Suco Mindelo . In the north-west lies the Maubisse administrative office with its Suco Manetú belonging to the municipality of Ainaro .

The country road, which connects the towns of Same and Alas , runs through the center from west to east . The places Sosemera ( Socemera ) and Dalun ( Dalu ) lie on it . There are no major roads that connect the rest of the Suco with the outside world. For example, for the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2007, the ballot boxes had to be brought to and from the polling station in the Escola Primaria Acadirutetuk by helicopter. In the north are the villages of Bubolau ( Bubulau ), Ailau , Batas and Hastetuc ( Hastetuk ). The Suco has a medical station, a makeshift helipad and two primary schools.

In the Suco there are the seven Aldeias Ailau , Batas , Bubolau , Dalun , Hastetuc , Roin and Sosemera .

Residents

The Suco has 1631 inhabitants (2015), 853 of whom are men and 778 women. The population density is 26.0 inhabitants / km². There are 282 households in the Suco. Over 57% of the population name Tetum Terik as their mother tongue. Over 28% speak Tetum Prasa , over 12% Mambai and small minorities speak Naueti , Isní or Bunak .

politics

In the 2004/2005 elections , José Florindo was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections , Bendito Amaral won .
