Valdeaveruelo is a northern Spanish municipality with 1072 inhabitants (as of 2019) in the province of Guadalajara in the comarca La Serranía in the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha .

location

Valdeaveruelo is just a few kilometers west of Guadalajara . The old, smaller and original town center is in a valley. The new district of Sotolargo , which is located to the east on the edge of the valley, belongs to the municipality .

The 16th century parish church of St. John the Baptist (San Juan Bautista) belongs to the diocese of Sigüenza-Guadalajara .
