Vanity Fair - Vanity Fair (2004) is a film adaptation of the work Vanity Fair: A Novel without a Hero ( German Vanity Fair ) by William Makepeace Thackeray from 1848, in which a young woman from a humble beginning of the 19th Century wants to rise in London society at any cost.

Beatrix Aruna Pasztor won in 2005 the Golden Satellite Award for Best Costume Design. Maria Djurkovic and Tatiana Lund were nominated for the best production design.
