Vitali Stähle (born April 3, 1982 in Krasnoturjinsk , Russian SFSR ) is a German - Russian ice hockey player who last played for EV Landshut in the ice hockey league .

Career

Vitali Stähle grew up in Krasnoturjinsk near the Urals , before moving with his family to the Federal Republic of Germany as part of the repatriate program after the collapse of the Soviet Union . There he began his ice hockey career with the Kölner Junghaien , for whom he played in the regional league until 2001 . In the summer of 2000 he took part in an ice hockey camp in Canada with Dimitri Pätzold , Roman Weilert and Lutz Klauck .

For the 2001/02 season he was licensed for the German Ice Hockey League , but ran up with a license for the Füchse Duisburg in the 2nd Bundesliga . He also played 20 games for the Ratinger Ice Aliens in the Oberliga Nord . In the summer of 2002 he was signed by the Nürnberg Ice Tigers and given a production license for the Landshut Cannibals . In addition to 36 appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga, he made his debut for the Ice Tigers in the DEL and played a total of 15 DEL games.

In the following two seasons he was again under contract with the Duisburger Füchsen, with whom at the end of the 2004/05 season he reached the championship of the 2nd Bundesliga. However, he played no role in the squad planning for the 2005/06 DEL season , so he decided to move to the upper league for SC Mittelrhein-Neuwied . In the summer he switched to eating mosquitoes . There, however, his contract was dissolved shortly after the start of the season, whereupon he switched to ETC Crimmitschau , where he developed into a service provider.

In summer 2008 he decided to sign with the Dresdner Eislöwen . After a season he left the Eislöwen and joined the upper division EHC Dortmund . After a season he left the EHC again and switched to the league newcomers Moskitos Essen . Stähle was also under contract there for one season before the striker was signed again by EHC Dortmund in April 2011. In August 2012, however, he switched to the Schweinfurt Mighty Dogs . After their withdrawal from the Oberliga Süd, Stähle was signed by EV Regensburg for the 2014/15 season . At the end of the 2016/17 season , Vitali Stähle switched to the Blue Devils Weiden , for which he appeared in the 2017/18 league season.
