bridges
In its course, the Wörsbach is crossed by a large number of bridges. Two bridges are listed in the Dauborn area. On the outskirts is the bridge of the Alte Selterser Straße . The round arch bridge on the former road to Niederselters is slightly rising towards the middle, made of small quarry stone blocks and provided with a plate crown and dates from the middle of the 19th century. Outside the village is the bridge at the Bruchmühle. It is one of the last dirt road bridges made of brick and broken stone. On the bridge, a small, recessed plaque shows the year and a Dauborn “schnapps drinker” as a folksy, humorous scratch drawing.
The Wörsbachtalbrücke the high-speed line Cologne-Rhine / Main spans the Wörsbachtal in the municipality of breaking.
Mills
The water of the Wörsbach used to drive many water mills. The Engelsmühle between Wallrabenstein and Beuerbach is a separate mill building. The single-storey half-timbered building from the 19th century was put down a few years ago and rebuilt in the same form. The grinder was previously completely preserved in the high, massive basement. The complex consists of a simple house with a gable roof and a central dwelling and a small half-timbered annex building at right angles.
The Bruchmühle , a four-sided mill yard from 1843 near Dauborn, is the last small plant in the district that is still in operation.
