The constituency of Mühlhausen I was a state electoral district for the state election in Thuringia in 1990 , the first state election after the re-establishment of the state of Thuringia. Its constituency number was 7.

The constituency comprised parts of the then district of Mühlhausen with the following cities and communities: Ammern , Beberstedt , Bickenriede , Eigenrode , Görmar , Grabe , Hollenbach , Horsmar , Hüpstedt , Kaisershagen , Kleinkeula , Körner , Lengefeld , Lengenfeld unterm Stein , Marolterode , Mehrstedt , Menteroda , Mühlhausen, Thomas-Müntzer-Stadt , Obermehler , Reiser , Saalfeld , Schlotheim , Sollstedt , Struth , Urbach , Windeberg and Zella .
