The Rochlitz constituency was a state electoral district for the state elections in Saxony in 1990 , the first state election after the re-establishment of the state of Saxony. Its constituency number was 57. For the 1994 state elections , the constituency structure was changed as a result of the district reform, and the number of constituencies was reduced from 80 to 60. With the exception of three municipalities, the area of the constituency of Rochlitz became part of the constituency of Mittweida 2 . The municipality of Langenau, which was still independent in 1990, was incorporated into the Döbeln constituency in 1994; the municipalities of Erlbach and Hausdorf changed to the Muldental 2 constituency
The constituency comprised the following communities in the Rochlitz district : Aitzendorf , Altgeringswalde , Arnsdorf b. Penig , Arras , Berthelsdorf , Chursdorf , Cossen , Crossen , Elsdorf , Erlau , Erlbach , Frankenau , Geringswalde , Göritzhain , Hausdorf , Himmelhartha , Holzhausen , Kolkau , Königsfeld , Königshain , Köttwitzsch , Langenau , Lastau , Leutenhain , Lunzenau , Milkau , Mutzscheroda , Nöbeln , Noßwitz , Penig , Penna , Rochlitz , Rochsburg , Sachsendorf , Schwarzbach , Schweikershain , Seelitz , Spernsdorf Stein i. Chemnitztal , Steudten , Tauscha , Thierbach , Topfseifersdorf , Wechselburg , Wiederau , Zetteritz , Zettlitz Zschoppelshain
