Wiehlsiefen ( hommersch Willsiefen / Wi'elsiefen) in the Oberbergischer Kreis is one of 51 localities in the city of Wiehl in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Location and description

The place is between Schneppsiefen in the north and Hückhausen in the south and is about 7 km as the crow flies from the city center of Wiehl. Wiehlsiefen is north of the federal motorway 4 .

history

Single farmstead in the hollow of the Hömelerbach at the foot of the Hömelskopf (305 m). Wiehlsiefen was mentioned for the first time as Willsiefen in the Marienberghausen church register in 1671 . Wiehlsiefen was created as a new foundation in the 17th century.
