Bomig in the Oberbergisches Kreis is one of 51 localities in the city of Wiehl in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia .
Location and description
The place is located between the towns of Dieringhausen in the north and Wiehl in the south on the K52 district road, conveniently located on the Autobahn 4 junction Gummersbach . Bomig is as the crow flies about 4 km northwest of the center of Wiehl.

First mention
- The place was mentioned for the first time in 1316, namely "Division of the people of Homburg: among other things, Rukero de Bodinbech is mentioned." The spelling of the first mention was Bodinbech .

Economy and industry
Bomig has three industrial parks with a total area of 80.6 hectares. They can all be reached via junction 25 of the A 4 in one to two kilometers. The Bomig-West industrial park is 48.8 hectares and is located "Am Verkehrskreuz". Bomig-Ost is 20.3 hectares and is located on "Albert-Einstein-Straße"; Bomig-Nord is 11.5 hectares and is located on "Carl-Zeiss-Straße".
