Remperg in the Oberbergischer Kreis is one of 51 localities in the city of Wiehl in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

The place is as the crow flies around 3 km east of the city center of Wiehl . Remperg is located south of the federal motorway 4 .


In 1491 the place was mentioned for the first time in a document, namely at "Differenzen Homburg and Berg". The spelling of the first mention is Rymprecht .

In the fodder oat label of the Homburg rule of 1580, 1 Bergischer, 3 Saynische and 5 Wittgenstein subjects are counted as taxpayers in Reimbergh .


The Remperger mill is used today as the company headquarters.
