Wolf-Dietrich Großer

Wolf-Dietrich Großer (born December 27, 1927 in Kreuzburg , Upper Silesia , † December 6,  2016  in  Munich ) was a German politician of the FDP and was a member of the Bavarian state parliament in the 8th , 9th and 12th legislative periods .

Life

Großer grew up as the son of a forester in Upper Silesia . A convocation in the Waffen-SS to get around, he volunteered for the Navy and became a cadet in Soviet prisoner of war (1945 to 1948).

He then completed an apprenticeship as a gardener and studied at the Weihenstephan Horticultural Teaching and Research Institute .

From 1956 to 1974 he worked for the Bavarian administration of the state palaces, gardens and lakes , after his mandate from the state parliament from 1974 to 1982 he became senior councilor in the Bavarian state ministry for regional development and environmental issues .

Wolf-Dietrich Großer joined the FDP Bayern in 1966 and worked on the Freiburg theses in 1971 .

He was honorary chairman of the FDP Upper Bavaria .

Public offices

In the 1974 state elections, Großer was elected to the Bavarian state parliament via the Upper Bavaria district list . He belonged to the committee for regional development and environmental issues. After the failure of the FDP at the five percent hurdle in the state elections in 1982 , he left the state parliament for the first time. After the state election in 1990 , the FDP moved back into the Maximilianeum for a legislative period. During this electoral term he was again a member of the Committee on State Development and Environmental Issues , as well as a member of the Committee on Public Service Issues . From 1990 to 1994 he was a deputy member of the " Gauweiler " investigative committee and the interim committee .

He was a member of the Oberschleißheim municipal council and 2nd mayor as well as a member of the district council of Munich-Land .
