Wolf Martini

Wolf Martini (born February 27, 1911 in Kiel , † June 5, 1959 in Berlin ) was a German actor , radio play and voice actor .

Life

Wolf Martini initially played in various theaters, including in Berlin, Stuttgart and Vienna. After returning home from captivity, he went to the Schauspielhaus in Hamburg and Berlin.

In the 1950s he was mostly active as a voice actor and was frequently cast on bad guys. He is well known as the voice of Anthony Quinn , for example in Against All Flags , The Hunchback of Notre Dame and La Strada - The Song of the Street . In the film The Twelve Jurors he was the German voice of Lee J. Cobb , in Between Two Fires that of Walter Matthau .

As an actor he was seen in some of the films of this time in minor supporting roles.

Wolf Martini died in Berlin in 1959 at the age of 48.
