Wuhai is a prefecture-level city in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China . The city lies on the Huang He . Wuhai translates as the Black Sea and has been a city since 1976 .
Administrative structure
At the county level, Wuhai is made up of three districts. These are:
- Haibowan District (海勃 湾区), 529 km², 200,000 inhabitants;
- Hainan District (海南 区), 1,005 km², 100,000 inhabitants;
- Wuda district (乌达 区), 220 km², 130,000 inhabitants.
