YEP! was a cartoon and anime block from YEP! TV Betriebs GmbH & Co. KG, which was broadcast from September 4, 2013 to June 30, 2015 on the free TV channel ProSieben Maxx .
The parent companies of YEP! TV Betriebs GmbH & Co. KG are m4e AG , based in Munich, and Mainstream Media AG . Both companies each hold 48% of YEP! TV Betriebs GmbH & Co. KG. Andreas Bartl has also held 4% of the company since February 2014. Originally, YEP! planned as a separate children's and youth channel, but this was initially put on hold in favor of ProSieben Maxx and a contract was signed with ProSiebenSat.1 Media in which YEP! a daily program window was granted. The program window was broadcast Monday to Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. On the weekend, the YEP! Program was broadcast between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The YEP! Was primarily aimed at boys ages 6 to 13 and included adventure, action, fantasy, and comedy. When selecting the program, YEP! partly from the m4e portfolio (including: "Storm Hawks", "B-DAMAN Crossfire" and "The Cramp Twins"), but also external programs.
On July 1st, 2015 the program window of YEP! discontinued and replaced by "Anime Action" and "Super Heroes" for cartoons. Since then, the YEP! TV Betriebs GmbH & Co. KG on the service as a distribution service for the station ProSieben Maxx.
