Zhou Yimiao ( Chinese 周 奕 妙 , Pinyin Zhōu Yìmiào , born February 7, 1991 in Hubei ) is a former Chinese tennis player .
Career
Zhou started playing tennis at the age of nine. She won six singles and eight doubles titles at the ITF Women's Circuit . She played her first game for the Chinese Fed Cup team on April 26, 2010 against Sweden . She won her doubles with Xinyun Han against Ellen Allgurin and Johanna Larsson 6: 3 and 6: 2.
In 2013, she narrowly failed twice in the main round of a Grand Slam tournament. In both the Australian Open and the French Open , she failed in qualifying.
Her greatest success in doubles was achieved in 2013 when she reached the second round of the Australian Open on the side of Xinyun Han.
Zhou Yimiao achieved her best placings in the world rankings with 127th place in singles and 134th place in doubles in 2013. She has not competed on the professional tour since the US Open in the same year, and since September 2014 she has not been in the rankings guided.
