Zlatko Janjić (born May 7, 1986 in Bosanska Gradiška , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnian - German football player .

Career

Janjić began playing football at the Bielefeld district club TuS Jöllenbeck and moved to Arminia Bielefeld in 2001 . After sitting on the bench for the first time at the start of the 2008/09 season against Werder Bremen , the midfielder made his Bundesliga debut on September 13, 2008 against VfL Bochum . He scored his first and only Bundesliga goal on March 14, 2009 against Karlsruher SC .

For the 2010/11 season Janjić moved to third division club SV Wehen Wiesbaden , where he signed a two-year contract and quickly became a top performer; in 38 games he scored twelve times. In September 2011 he was temporarily suspended from the first team's training and game operations for disciplinary violations and played in the second team for the rest of the first half of the season. After the winter break, he returned to the first team, was again SVWW's top scorer with twelve goals in the 2011/12 season and extended his contract, which expired at the end of the season, until June 30, 2014.

For the 2013/14 season Janjić moved to the second division club FC Erzgebirge Aue , where he received a two-year contract. He dissolved this again during the summer break of 2014 and moved to the 3rd division at MSV Duisburg . He immediately became a regular player, was the top goalscorer with 17 goals in the 2014/15 season and achieved promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga with the team at the end of the season. At the end of the 2015/16 season he finished 16th with the team and lost 4-1 in the relegation to remain in the league against third in the 3rd division , Würzburger Kickers , after a round trip.

In the following season, as champions of the 3rd division, rose again. In preparation for the 2017/18 second division season , Janjić suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament.

In February 2018 he moved to the Polish club Korona Kielce , for which he was only able to contribute one goal in 31 first division games.

Janjić returned to Germany in January 2019, where he signed a contract with third division club SG Sonnenhof Großaspach until the end of the season. He held the class with the club, for whom he met five times in eleven league games, but his contract was not renewed.

At the beginning of August 2019, the Bosnian received a contract with SC Verl that was valid until the end of the 2019/20 regional league season .
