WWE Films is a subsidiary of World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., created in 2002 to create and develop feature film properties for the professional wrestlers within the company.

To date it has co-produced two films and has produced three more independently, with The Marine being the first developed solely by the company to reach the filming stage, whilst first one to be theatrically released is See No Evil.

Stone Cold Steve Austin is signed to star in three movies for WWE Films.[1]

Before the formation of WWE Films the WWE had produced the 1989 film No Holds Barred featuring Hulk Hogan.

In the WWE transition report 2006 the following was said about WWE Films;

We have several other projects in developmental stages as we look for the best quality movies to produce, whether they are full theatrical releases, made-for-television films or direct-to-DVD movies.
