Shrek 4 will be the sequel to Shrek the Third. It will be produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Paramount Pictures. Shrek 4 will be the final installment of the Shrek series.[citation needed]
On November 1, 2006, it was announced that Shrek 4 will be released in 2010.[1] [2]

The first trailer for Shrek 4 has a black screen on which a green numeral 4 appears with the usual ogre ears on it.
Trailer 2
The second trailer was where Shrek was standing in a field with flowers and then said: "Hello. This is the trailer for Shrek 4. Uh... see you next time with Shrek 5... yee hee!" He then drives off.
