This is a chronological list of teams that have been WWE Tag Team Champions by ring name. The WWE Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling world tag team championship in World Wrestling Entertainment. Currently, it is defended on the SmackDown and ECW brands. There have been a total of 32 recognized individual champions and 20 recognized teams, who have had a combined 25 official reigns.
