The 1961/62 season was the second season of the 1st division , the highest Danish ice hockey division . Champion was for the fourth time in the history of KSF Copenhagen .

In the main round, each of the four teams played a total of six games. The first place in the main round was champion. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
