The 6th ring road or the Beijing ring road ( Chinese  六环路 , Pinyin Liùhuán Lù , English 6th Ring Road ), Chinese abbreviation G45 01 , is a ring-shaped and consistently four-lane highway around the capital Beijing (Beijing) in northeast China . The 220 km long motorway ring, which was completed in 2010, is part of the Beijing motorway network . It already runs outside Beijing Airport and at a distance of 20–30 km from the city center.
