The 7.5 cm infantry gun 37 ( IG 37 for short ) was a German infantry gun used by the Wehrmacht during World War II .
history
The IG 37 was a gun developed towards the end of the war that was intended to be suitable for both anti-tank and infantry support. As a mount for this 7.5 cm PaK 37 gun, the 3.7 cm PaK 36 or the Soviet captured guns PaK 184 (r) and PaK 158 (r) were used . By the end of the war, about 1,304 guns were operational.
