Alan D'Angerio (born before 1982) is a makeup artist .

Life

D'Angerio began his film staff career in television in 1982 after previously working as a makeup artist on Broadway . His first feature film was Francis Ford Coppola's Cotton Club . As a result, he worked under renowned directors such as Martin Scorsese , Martin Brest and Robert Zemeckis . He worked on seven films for Jonathan Demme , including The Silence of the Lambs and Rachel's Wedding . 1994 he was for Jonathan Demme drama Philadelphia along with Carl Fullerton for the Oscar in the category Best Makeup and Best hairstyles nominated, but this year won the comedy Mrs. Doubtfire - The prickly nanny .
