Ali Çamdalı (born February 22, 1984 in Duisburg ) is a Turkish soccer player who also has German citizenship .
Career
Çamdalı played as a youth for GSG Duisburg and Duisburg FV 08 . In 1998 he moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach . After seven years Bayer 04 Leverkusen signed the young Turk for the second team playing in the regional league . Despite relegation to the league in 2007, Çamdalı received an offer from the Turkish first division club Kayserispor , which he also accepted.
Çamdalı celebrated his professional debut for Kayserispor in the Süper Lig on March 15, 2008, when he was substituted on in the game against Gençlerbirliği Ankara shortly before the end. After a year, Çamdalı, who came as a substitute only to five short appearances, left the club and joined the second division Kayseri Erciyesspor . There he became a regular player, but still had to leave the club at the end of the season. Only after half a year without a club was Çamdalı committed for the second half of the 2009/10 season by league rivals Kocaelispor . However, he could not prevent relegation, which is why he moved to Orduspor in the summer of 2010 . After a year he made promotion to the Süper Lig with Orduspor in the relegation games . From the 2010/11 season, Çamdalı was the leading player and captain of Orduspor.
In the summer of 2013, Çamdalı moved to the new first division club Konyaspor . For Konyaspor Çamdalı played 140 league games and scored seven goals. In the summer of 2018 he moved to the newly promoted Çaykur Rizespor . In January 2019 he returned to Konyaspor after half a season.
