Ali Ibrahimaj (born August 18, 1991 in Rüsselsheim ) is a German - Albanian football player . He has been playing for third division club KFC Uerdingen since 2018 , where he plays on the offensive flank and in the offensive midfield.

Career

After a few years with various clubs in the fifth - tier Hessenliga , Ibrahimaj moved to Sportfreunde Siegen in the fourth-tier Regionalliga West for the 2014/15 season . The following season he joined Waldhof Mannheim , for which he was used in a total of 61 league games and was able to score six goals. Mannheim reached the runner-up in the Regionalliga Süd / West with him. The second division SV Sandhausen became aware of the offensive player and signed Ibrahimaj. On October 23, 2017 he made his professional debut in the starting line-up at 1: 1 Sandhausens at FC St. Pauli . After that, however, he only made five appearances as a substitute, so that a contract termination was agreed during the summer break. The KFC Uerdingen 05 , promoted to the 3rd division, announced the commitment of the player. The contract runs for three years. In his second competitive game he scored his first competitive goal for Krefeld with the opening goal at Würzburger Kickers (0: 2), a week later he scored the winning goal in 1860 Munich as a substitute in the 0: 1 away win.
