Tim Albutat (born September 23, 1992 in Wehen ) is a German soccer player who is under contract with MSV Duisburg .
Life
Albutat graduated from high school in 2011. From 2012 to 2013 he worked as a kitchen assistant in a Freiburg restaurant.
Career
In the club
In his youth Albutat played at SV Wehen Wiesbaden in his hometown Taunusstein . At the age of 15, SC Freiburg noticed him at a viewing tournament, whereupon he moved to Breisgau with his club colleague Alexander Schwolow . He won the DFB Junior Club Cup with the A youth team in Freiburg in the 2010/11 season . In the final against the young Hansa Rostock he led his team as a captain on the field and turned in the penalty shoot the final and decisive penalty.
Since the 2010/11 season he has been in the regional league squad of the second Freiburg team. He has also been leading the team as captain for some time. He made his debut in the Bundesliga on May 11, 2013 in the game against SpVgg Greuther Fürth , when he came on for Cédric Makiadi towards the end of the game .
He was not included in the professional squad for the 2013/14 season, but played one game in the Bundesliga and two games in the Europa League for the first team , including one against Sevilla FC. He also played for the fourth-class second representation of the Freiburg. He was adopted on May 17, 2014 after playing his last home game for the team.
Because of the great competition in the defensive midfield, he signed a two-year contract with the third-class MSV Duisburg in the subsequent transfer period . He agreed a loan deal with a purchase option with SC Freiburg. At MSV he was able to fight for a place in the first eleven and made it to the 2nd Bundesliga with the team in 2015 , but was immediately relegated with the MSV the following year. In the 2016/17 season , MSV Duisburg acquired the transfer rights to Albutat and provided him with a contract until June 30, 2019. With the MSV he rose again as third division champion in 2017 to the second division and two years later again.
National team
In March and April 2010 Albutat ran in three games for the German U-18 national team .
