Heinz Mörschel (born August 24, 1997 in Santo Domingo , Dominican Republic ) is a German football player of Dominican origin. The striker is under contract with KFC Uerdingen 05 and was active three times for the German U18s .

Career

In his youth, Mörschel, who came to Germany with his parents at the age of eight months and grew up in Frankfurt-Bornheim , played for Eintracht Frankfurt , FSV Frankfurt and 1. FSV Mainz 05 and rose from the A for the 2016/17 season -Youth from Mainz 05 in the reserve team, the 1. FSV Mainz 05 II . He made his debut for the second team in the 3rd league and thus his professional debut on August 10, 2016 in a 2-2 draw against VfL Osnabrück . In stoppage time in the second half, he was substituted on by coach Sandro Schwarz for Philipp Klement .

For the 2018/19 season he joined Holstein Kiel for two years . He made his second division debut on matchday one in a 3-0 away win at Bundesliga relegated Hamburger SV . He scored his first competitive goal for Kiel after being substituted on the tenth match day in a 1-1 draw against 1. FC Köln in the 88th minute of the game. After a total of only eight season appearances (one goal), he was released from training in the summer of 2019 in order to be able to devote himself to the search for a new club.

On July 1, 2019, Mörschel was signed by the third division team Preußen Münster and given a two-year contract. In the first half of the season he was used as an attacker and scored four goals, in the back series he played mostly in midfield and scored four more goals. At the end of the season, Munster was relegated to the regional league , but Mörschel did not go along with this and, together with his teammate Fridolin Wagner, moved to KFC Uerdingen 05 , which remained in the third division , where he received a two-year contract.

National team

In 2014 and 2015, Mörschel played three games for the German U18 national team , in which he scored a goal.
