Christian Kinsombi (born August 24, 1999 ) is a German football player of Congolese descent. The winger is under contract with KFC Uerdingen 05 .

Career

Kinsombi, who has German citizenship and that of the Democratic Republic of the Congo , was trained in the junior performance center of 1. FSV Mainz 05 . For the club, he was used in both the B and A junior Bundesliga and always occupied places in the middle of the table with the Mainz youth teams. As a player from Mainz 05, the offensive player was on the field four times in 2015 and 2016 for the Southwest national teams in the U16 and U18 country cups.

For the second half of the 2017/18 regional league season, the winger moved up to the second men's team and was from then on regularly in the squad. In 42 league games he contributed two hits and six assists, but fought with Mainz II mostly to stay in the league.

As part of internal restructuring measures , the third division club KFC Uerdingen 05 committed Kinsombi for the 2019/20 season and provided him with a three-year contract. In the 0: 3 home defeat against second division relegated FC Ingolstadt 04 on matchday 5, Kinsombi was used for the first time in a professional league.

Private

His older brother David (* 1995) is also a professional footballer and plays for Hamburger SV .
