The 1970 World Series was the 67th edition of the finals of Major League Baseball . It faced the champions of the American League , the Baltimore Orioles , and the champion of the National League , the Cincinnati Reds . The Best-Of-Seven series started on October 10th and ended on October 15th, 1970. The Baltimore Orioles won by a 4-1 victory and were able to achieve their second championship.
As MVP of the series of Baltimore was third baseman Brooks Robinson excellent.
