The 1992 World Series was the first major league baseball finals ever held outside the United States . For the first time in history, a team from Canada won the title.

The series started on October 17, 1992 and ended on October 24, 1992. It faced the champions of the American League , the Toronto Blue Jays , and the champions of the National League , the Atlanta Braves . The Toronto Blue Jays won the "Best of Seven" series with 4-2 wins. For the Blue Jays, it was the first World Series win in the history of the franchise .

As MVP of the World Series was Pat Borders excellent.
