The 1975 World Series was the 72nd edition of the Major League Baseball finals . The champions of the American League , the Boston Red Sox , and the champions of the National League , the Cincinnati Reds , faced each other. The Best-Of-Seven series started on October 11th and ended on October 22nd, 1975. The Cincinnati Reds won a 4-3 victory and were able to win their third championship.
As MVP Series Cincinnati outfielder was Pete Rose excellent.
