The 2007 World Series was the 103rd edition of the Major League Baseball finals . The series started on October 24, 2007 and ended on October 28, 2007. It faced the champion of the American League , the Boston Red Sox , and the champion of the National League , the Colorado Rockies . The Boston Red Sox won the "Best of Seven" series in four games with one sweep , making them their second title in four years.

As MVP of the World Series was Mike Lowell excellent.
