Christian Dorda (born December 6, 1988 in Mönchengladbach ) is a German - Polish soccer player . He is currently under contract with KFC Uerdingen .

Career

Dorda moved from SC Wegberg to Borussia Mönchengladbach in 1996 as a seven-year-old . After going through the youth departments, he made his debut in Borussia's second team in 2006. Since 2006 he has played a total of 22 games in the regional soccer league and the Oberliga Nordrhein .

Due to extreme staff shortages in the back of the professional team, Dorda made his Bundesliga debut on November 8, 2008 at the game in Bielefeld . He convinced with his performance and thus came to regular appearances in the following games. On December 20, 2008, he received a professional contract that was dated June 30, 2011 and was not renewed. Due to a torn patellar tendon , Dorda was not used in the 2010/11 season. In summer 2011 he switched to SpVgg Greuther Fürth .

For the 2012/13 season he moved to the Dutch first division club Heracles Almelo . He signed a two-year contract until June 30, 2014 with an option for an additional year.

On January 31, 2014, he signed a contract dated until 2016 with league rivals FC Utrecht .

On June 16, 2015, he signed a contract dated until 2017 with the German third division club FC Hansa Rostock . During the season he made 24 league appearances and also won the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Cup in 2015/16 . Due to a knee operation in June 2016, Dorda was initially not used in the 2016/17 season . After two years and 45 competitive games with two goals for Hansa, the cooperation in Rostock ended at the end of the 2016/17 season. He moved to KFC Uerdingen 05 in the Regionalliga West. With the KFC he became champions in 2018 and rose to the 3rd division.

Dorda plays in defense in the position of left-back .
