Osayamen Osawe (born September 3, 1993 in Benin City ) is an English football player . The striker is under contract with KFC Uerdingen 05 .

Career

Osawe played for Blackburn Rovers in his youth . However, he did not play a professional game for this club. In autumn 2012 he was loaned to fourth division Accrington Stanley for a month ; in spring 2013 to the fifth division FC Hyde. In the summer of 2013 he moved to the fifth division FC Southport , where he became a regular player. In the summer of 2014 he went to the German third division for Halleschen FC, where he signed a two-year contract. At the beginning he was rarely in the starting XI, but was often substituted on. In the 5-1 win over Arminia Bielefeld , he scored two goals after being substituted on in the 71st minute. Overall, he made seven goals in his first season in Halle - mostly as a substitute.

For the 2016/17 season he moved to 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the 2. Bundesliga . Osawe scored all three goals in the 3-0 win against VfL Bochum on matchday 10. After the relegation of FCK in 2018, Osawe's contract there became invalid. For the 2018/19 season he signed a contract with second division club FC Ingolstadt 04 .

After completing 16 goalless league games for Upper Bavaria in the first half of the season, Osawe signed a contract with Krefeld until June 2021.
