Fridolin Wagner (born September 23, 1997 in Leipzig ) is a German soccer player who plays in the central midfield. He has been under contract with KFC Uerdingen 05 since 2020 .

Career

Wagner started playing soccer in 2002 in the youth department of VfB Leipzig and from 2004 also belonged to the successor club 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig . At the beginning of the 2011/12 season, he moved to the youth department of the newly founded club RB Leipzig . After the U-23s from RB Leipzig canceled the game at the end of the 2016/17 season, Wagner moved to the third division FSV Zwickau for the 2017/18 season , with whom he signed a two-year contract. Wagner played his first game for West Saxony on July 29, 2017 in the league game against Sportfreunde Lotte .

During the 2017/18 winter break, he moved to league competitor Werder Bremen II , with whom he was relegated to the Regionalliga Nord at the end of the season.

For the 2019/2020 third division season, the midfielder moved to Preußen Münster , where he received a two-year contract. Following the season in which Münster was relegated to the Regionalliga West, he announced his move to the league competitor KFC Uerdingen 05 . He also signed with the Krefeld team for two years.

Wagner played for the U16, U18 and U19 teams of the DFB .
