Alice Prosser (* 2002 ) is an Austrian actress .

Life and career

Alice Prosser played her first role in the theater at the age of eight at the side of Gert Voss as "Katharina" in the duo drama Simply Complicated by Thomas Bernhard . The play was performed under the direction of Claus Peymann for two years at the Akademietheater in Vienna and was performed as a guest appearance at the Théâtre des Abbesses in Paris . The rehearsals took place in the Berliner Ensemble , among others .

From 2010 to 2012 Prosser was a member of the children's choir of the Volksoper Vienna , where she participated in various productions and, among other things, played the role of "Martha Trapp" in 2012 in The Sound of Music .

From 2016 to 2019 she worked in productions of the Junge Burg as part of the Vienna Burgtheater . Since January 2020 Alice Prosser has played the role of “Svenja” in the Burgtheater production Kriegerin based on the award-winning feature film by David Wnendt . Prosser was praised for her acting performance by the daily DiePresse .

She gained her first camera experience at the age of seven in productions for the ORF Okidoki children's program . Among other things, she was seen in the role of a detective child in several episodes of Tom Turbo together with Thomas Brezina . At the age of fifteen she played the role of "Emma Neuer" in the online series ZETT on PULS4 . The series was produced by Breitwandfilm under the direction of Paul Harather . This coming-of-age series followed the principle of the successful Swedish series Skam . In 2018 ZETT was shown at the New York Television Festival in New York.

She made her film debut in 2018 in the ORF - ARD co-production of the television film The Best Papa in the World as “Kristina Köhler” at the side of Oliver Mommsen , Philipp Hochmair and Hilde Dalik . The director was Sascha Bigler , with whom Alice Prosser also shot the city ​​comedy The Fall of Gerti B. in spring 2019 , in which she portrayed “Gerti Bruckner” in 1978. Alice Prosser is a great-granddaughter of the Austrian forest scientist Walter Bitterlich .
