Altpölla is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Pölla in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 82 building areas with 51,292 m² and 88 gardens on 109,206 m² in the cadastral community Altpölla , in 1989/1990 there were 95 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 110 and in 2009/2010 there were 119 buildings on 232 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 503 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 333 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 511 hectares and 333 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 495 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 335 hectares. The average soil climate number of Altpölla is 38.6 (as of 2010).
