Wetzlas is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Pölla in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 20 building areas with 13,664 m² and 11 gardens on 30,351 m² in the cadastral community of Wetzlas , in 1989/1990 there were 22 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 48 and in 2009/2010 there were 27 buildings on 54 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 72 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 16 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 73 hectares and 17 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 70 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 17 hectares. The average soil climate in Wetzlas is 27.5 (as of 2010).
