Ramsau is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Pölla in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 22 building areas with 17,030 m² and 32 gardens on 39,216 m² in the cadastral community of Ramsau , in 1989/1990 there were 25 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 35 and in 2009/2010 there were 32 buildings on 75 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 213 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 58 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 216 hectares and 58 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 212 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 60 hectares. The average soil climate in Ramsau is 44.2 (as of 2010).
