Schmerbach am Kamp is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Pölla in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 9 building areas with 2,799 m² in the cadastral community Schmerbach , in 1989/1990 there were still 9 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 22 and in 2009/2010 there were 14 buildings on 22 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 49 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 37 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000, 47 hectares of agriculture were practiced and 39 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 46 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 39 hectares. The average soil climate of Schmerbach is 16.8 (as of 2010).
