Krug is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Pölla in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 30 building areas with 15,382 m² and 36 gardens on 54,402 m² in the cadastral community of Krug , in 1989/1990 there were 42 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 108 and in 2009/2010 there were 50 buildings on 116 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 126 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 396 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 121 hectares and 400 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 118 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 399 hectares. The average soil climate number of Krug is 35.4 (as of 2010).
