Kienberg is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Pölla in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 17 building areas with 6,669 m² and 25 gardens on 16,827 m² in the cadastral community of Kienberg , in 1989/1990 there were 26 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 69 and in 2009/2010 there were 31 buildings on 65 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 72 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 86 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 60 hectares and 97 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 57 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 99 hectares. The average soil climate of Kienberg is 23.3 (as of 2010).
