At Rothen Sand
Coordinates: 49 ° 58 ′ 56 ″ N , 8 ° 6 ′ 37 ″ E
The Am Rothen Sand nature reserve is located in the Mainz-Bingen district in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The 67.65 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1994 , extends west of the Ingelheim district of Wackernheim along the torrent. The state road L 419 runs south .
